Following a penalty-shootout victory to best FC United of Manchester in the First Round Qualifying stage, Nantwich Town have been drawn to host Ashton Athletic in the next round of qualifying.

Ashton’s U18 side currently ply their trade in the North-West Youth Alliance Premier, one rung above the Dabbers’ respective youth outfit.

After a super start to their season, the Latics are currently unbeaten in their division with three wins from three and battled past Sandbach United in the First Round Qualifying with a 3-2 victory.

The tie will take place at the Weaver Stadium on Wednesday 2nd October with a 7.45pm kick-off. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for U16s (or free with a full-paying adult).

Prior to this game, Nantwich’s U18s are back in action this weekend as they travel to FC St Helens in North-West Youth Alliance Division One action; looking to cut Cammell Laird’s lead at the top to two points. Kick-off is at 2.30pm and entry is free.
