The recent ambitious and exciting works which have provided the club and community with a new “world class” 3G facility mean the club is in need of some enthusiastic and willing volunteers to join us and to help whenever and wherever they can. There are a variety of interesting and rewarding roles, where help is needed, so if you can spare sometime and would like to join other like-minded individuals in a wonderful environment, please get in touch for more details.
Paid Roles
- Matchday and Evening Bar Staff – We are looking for matchday and evening bar staff for the Swansway Stadium. This will involve working on matchdays (Saturday afternoons, Tuesday nights, etc) and on evenings when the club holds events.
Voluntary Roles
- Kit Manager – A wonderful opportunity to be a key part of the management team, ensuring that the first team kit is collected, distributed and managed efficiently, both at training sessions and on match days, home and away. Whilst a voluntary role, nominal expenses incurred will be covered.
- Stadium & Facilities Manager – This is a key role working in conjunction with the Facilities Director to ensure that the upkeep of the stadium and facilities is maintained, contractors are engaged and managed where necessary and health & safety and matchday protocol is adhered to. - Media Assistant – One of our current excellent media team is leaving to take up a position at a professional football club, which is wonderful and he is following in the path of many of our previous media volunteers and the experience that he and they have gained at NTFC has led to a full time position in media at a higher level and a full time club, which ably demonstrates the value in becoming part of the media team at the club. The role is a varied one, as there are two others in the team, covering everything from the web site, social media, graphic design, matchday coverage (Home & Away) via Twitter/X, video filming and editing to interviewing the manager and players. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in sports journalism and media.
