Three gigs coming to the Swansway for Words & Music Festival!

This October will once again see the Nantwich Words and Music Festival come to town and The Dabbers will again proudly play host to two brilliant gigs.

Monday 13th October: Rianne Downey

Dubbed one of the UK’s hottest rising female singers, Rianne Downey reached prominence recently as the duettist with Housemartins and Beautiful South legend Paul Heaton, culminating with their superb Glastonbury Pyramid Stage performance in 2024.

Even before she joined forces with Paul Heaton as co-vocalist, she had been described by Whispering Bob Harris as ‘a Dolly Parton from East Glasgow’.

Now, having sung to audiences all over Europe, Rianne is set to release her own debut album, and she’s bringing her full band to the Swansway Stadium to premiere it!

Doors open at 7.30pm on the night. UPDATE: Tickets for this are SOLD OUT.

Tuesday 14th October: John Bramwell

John Bramwell is best known as the lead singer of alt-rock band I Am Kloot, who released several albums in the 2000s and 2010s, one of which was nominated for the Mercury Prize.

He’s also released music as a solo artist and will be showcasing all of that at the Swansway on 14th October!

It’s from 7.30pm, and tickets are available HERE.

Thursday 16th October: Danny and the Champions of the World

Celebrated for their soul-stirring live performances and rich blend of Americana, rock, and heartland soul, Danny & The Champions of the World bring their full-band show to Nantwich for the first time.

Led by the magnetic Danny George Wilson (also of Grand Drive and Bennett Wilson Poole), the Champs have built a loyal following thanks to their heartfelt songs, big choruses, and feelgood energy. With a reputation as one of the UK’s finest live acts, this is a rare chance to catch them in an intimate setting.

Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are available HERE.
