Members of the Nantwich Town Independent Supporters Association (NTISA) have once again brought festive cheer to the Swansway Stadium by organising their annual Christmas hamper draw. Held during the Nantwich Town versus Vauxhall Motors match on Saturday 14th December 2024, the fundraiser raised an impressive £698.
The draw, a tradition since 2014, saw donations flood in from generous NTISA members and the public. Six hampers, each brimming with dozens of items, were up for grabs. The event took place during the Pitching In Northern Premier League – West Division match, which ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
The funds raised will go toward the club’s new Fan-Zone, with a portion also donated to the Nantwich Foodbank. This year’s success highlights the ongoing commitment of NTISA members to supporting both the football club and the local community.
The NTISA, formed in 2012, is a group of dedicated supporters who not only follow the team home and away but also organise events like race nights and quiz nights to generate vital additional revenue. Over the years, their fundraising efforts have provided essential enhancements to the Swansway Stadium, including a tannoy system, an amenity area near the Dabber Diner, and a ramp and shelter for disabled supporters.
Currently, the NTISA is spearheading the creation of a Fan-Zone matchday section adjacent to the Swansway Stand, further cementing their invaluable role in the development of Nantwich Town Football Club on and off the pitch.
