It’s a quick reunion with the Motormen for the Dabbers on Saturday (3pm kick off) as we play our first reverse fixture of the campaign.

Vauxhall have hit a real hot streak in recent weeks, winning 4 on the bounce in the league coming into this one. Those wins have come against Sporting Khalsa, Trafford, Mossley, and Stafford, and by an aggregate score of 12-4. It’s form that has propelled them to the final play off place and 5th in the NPL West.
Their only defeat in their last 11 league games? It came against the Dabbers at the end of October. They haven’t lost since. Other notable stats on them are hat they are the joint top scorers in the division with Lower Breck, but no team in the top 14 has conceded more goals either. There’s no lack of entertainment in Vauxhall games.
Better still, no team in the NPL West has recovered more points from losing positions than Vauxhall with 16, 6 more than anyone else. Up until Saturday, the Dabbers had won every game in which they’d scored first, but with that record now gone Vauxhall would surely back themselves to win this from any position in the game, which they weren’t able to do 6 weeks ago.
Last Time We Met
Highlights from the recent meeting on 28th October, in which Byron Harrison scored the only goal, are below. The reason the games are so close is the away game had to be rearranged due to cup involvements earlier in the season while this game remains in its original position.
Players to Watch
Conor Harwood is on a 4-game scoring streak, and Vauxhall have won all of those games too. The rest of their frontline are well known, with former Dabber Joe Malkin, Nick Rushton, Kyle Sambor and Kevin Ellison all big dangers.
One new face since the October game is another familiar name in Nathan Sandison. He scored 3 goals and assisted 13 in 27 appearances for Nantwich last season, and is on loan at Vauxhall from Southport. One of those 3 goals was a smart chip away at Vauxhall.
