The Dabbers will travel to Morpeth Town in this weekends league table clash. David Cooke’s men come into the game on the back of a 3-1 defeat away to Warrington Town last week, however the men in green will be keen to bounce back on their travels.

Nantwich make the long journey up north to Morpeth having picked up six points from 15 in their last five games in all competitions. The Dabbers currently occupy 9th spot, with their opponents sitting in 16th.

The hosts came up last season, having won the east division league, totting up an impressive 88 points. The northerners come into game on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Bamber Bridge, in a more generally steady start to their season.

Nantwich previously defeated Morpeth at home in the Emirates FA Cup third round qualifying in October; a 90th minute Joe Mwasile goal enough to send the Dabbers through to the next round.

A win for Nantwich could see them move into the top six, with games in hand on most of their surrounding opponents.
