Nantwich Town can confirm that Joe Mwasile has left the club to join fellow NPL side Witton Albion after a seven-day approach was made by The Albs.

Joe first joined The Dabbers back in November 2016 when he arrived from Marine. He scored five goals during that campaign which helped us get into the play off semi-final. At the end of that season, he joined Warrington Town before returning to Nantwich in October 2017.

Since then, Mwasile has become a real fans favourite, he made his 150th Dabbers appearance in a 2-2 draw with Radcliffe back in March 2020.  In his time with the club, he scored 23 goals, the most famous of which was against Morpeth in October 2019 where he poked home from close range to send the Dabbers into the FA Cup 4th Round Qualifying Round

We would like to thank Joe for all the wonderful memories he has given us over the years, and we wish him all the best for his future career.
