Following the government’s recent announcement that the Country is to enter into a second national lockdown as of Thursday 5th November, we have now received confirmation from the FA that all fixtures and training for indoor and outdoor, grassroots youth and adult football is suspended from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December (Subject to confirmation) and therefore in accordance with the Governments instructions, the club will unfortunately be closing during this time.

This is obviously disappointing news for everyone, though given the severity of things at present, understandable and necessary. The past nine months have been extremely difficult for everyone, personally, in business and in sport and we are extremely grateful to all of our supporters, parents, players, coaches, volunteers and local business’s for the generosity, commitment and support, that has enabled us to remain viable following the previous lockdown and hopefully this spirit and belief will continue through this next challenging period and you will all continue to support the club through it, until we can hopefully reopen on the 2nd of December.

Tonight’s home game against Mickleover will therefore be the last one until then, so hopefully as many of you as safely possible, can join us to hopefully help the team maintain their unbeaten start to the season and to enjoy some top live Football prior to lockdown.

Thanks once again for your understanding and unwavering support and please keep safe and we look forward to hopefully welcoming you all back again on the 2nd of December.
