Nantwich Town Women are very pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Megan Ragdale from Crewe Alex Women.
The 31-year-old joins Amanda Fallon, Hattie Bourne and Grace Duckworth in moving from Crewe to the Dabbers in the last few months. Megan played and scored for the Crewe Alex Legends team against the Dabbers in pre-season in a charity game that raised hundreds of pounds.
Dabbers Women’s manager Dan Mellor said:
“I’m delighted to welcome Megan to Nantwich Town, she’s someone who’s been on my radar for a while now and she will undoubtedly make us stronger.
Meg can play out wide as she possesses fantastic pace but she’s recently played in the 10 position and her quality on the ball will be a real asset to us.
Meg has been a regular for Crewe so to be able to attract yet another top player in the area shows we’re doing things right at Nantwich and I’m sure our fans will enjoy her displays.”
Megan said:
“I’m really looking forward to the season ahead with Nantwich. The staff and players have been really welcoming. Having played previously at tier 4 and 5 level, I’m hoping I have a wealth of experience to bring to the club to help with the team’s ambitions.”
