The Dabbers Women are pleased to announce the signing of former Crewe Alex midfielder Amy McDermott on a free transfer.
She scored just 25 minutes into her Nantwich debut on Saturday in the charity friendly against Crewe Legends.
Manager Dan Mellor said:
“Macca is a really great signing for us, her quality was evident in our open sessions we ran over the summer and she showed in the charity game on Saturday that she’s sharp and ready to go, her finish was class and I’m sure she will show more of that as we head into our pre season schedule.”

“After taking a year out from playing football and missing it, Dan reached out at the perfect time really. Going along to the trials and first couple of training sessions has completely reignited the fire to play football again alongside this fantastic team and set-up. I’ve really enjoyed the atmosphere so far and getting stuck in to the start of pre-season, building up to match-day fitness. It’s been nice to see some old faces and I look forward to bonding as a unit and seeing the progression of the team as a whole.”
