Nantwich Town Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of centre back Connor O’Riordan from Crewe Alexandra on a one-month loan. He will straight into today’s match day squad.
Connor, the younger brother of former Dabber, Declan O’Riordan. Spent the beginning of the season on loan at Kidsgrove Athletic where he put in some very impressive performances for The Grove.
In May 2021 he was recognised by the LFE (League Football Education) for his excellent work both on and off the field. Connor was included in ‘The 11’ that acknowledges the footballing and academic progress of under 18’s players on apprenticeships at current Football League clubs.
We are very much looking forward to seeing what Connor can do on the pitch and we can’t wait to see him in a Dabbers shirt.
