Nantwich Town are pleased to announce the signing of young Iranian player Manouchehr Tavakoli.
Known as ‘Amir’, he is capable of playing at right wing or full back.
He is a product of the Steven Gerrard Academy and has also played at Burscough.
Amir was part of the matchday squad for Saturday’s win over York.
Manager Paul Carden said:
“He was put to us a while ago now, came highly recommended from them (Steven Gerrard academy) and he’s played a little bit of non league football last season for Burscough and done really well, he’s a young lad who’s got a lot of potential but we feel he can add to what we’ve got. He’s got a lot of ability, he’s got a lot of learning to do as well. But we believe that he can be a good player now and improve in the future as well so delighted to have him on board.”
Welcome to the Dabbers, Amir!
