Last Thursday, Nantwich Town were able to hold our popular Sports Dinner after two years away due to the pandemic.
A sell out audience were in attendance in the Atherton and Associates Lounge at the Optimum Pay Stadium to enjoy a number of events, from a delicious curry meal to a sports memorabilia auction.
The special guest for the night was the main attraction though, with Crewe Alex legend and former England international Dean Ashton giving a speech talking about his sparkling career that was cruelly cut short by injury.

All in all it was a terrific evening that helped to raise money for this community football club as well as bringing people together in a social context after so long having to be spent apart.
