Nantwich Town are delighted to welcome back last season’s top goalscorer Callum Saunders on a dual-registration basis from Curzon Ashton.

Saunders left the Dabbers in the summer to join the Vanarama National League North outfit, and returns to the club as attacking reinforcement ahead of a busy festive period.

The striker scored seventeen goals for the club last year, including a goal in every round of Nantwich’s second consecutive successful Cheshire Senior Cup campaign.

Callum got his Dabbers career off to a fine start, with a hat-trick against Lancaster City in only the third outing of the season.

He also grabbed two against his former club in a memorable 2-1 victory at Gresty Road against Crewe Alexandra in the Second Round of the Cheshire Senior Cup.

The club would like to thank Curzon Ashton for their co-operation in this matter.

Callum goes straight into the squad for tomorrow evening’s Intergro League Cup tie with Widnes FC, at the Weaver Stadium. Kick-off is at 7.45pm with reduced admission priced at £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for U16s.
