Festive cheer was once again in abundance at the Swansway Stadium as members of the Nantwich Town Independent Supporters Association (NTISA) staged their popular annual Christmas hamper draw.
Held during Nantwich Town’s home match against Bootle on Saturday 20th December 2025, the long-running fundraiser raised an impressive £650 for the NTISA and a chosen local charity. The occasion was made even more special as supporters also celebrated a 3–1 victory for the Dabbers in the Pitching In Northern Premier League – West Division clash.
The Christmas hamper draw has been a proud NTISA tradition since 2014 and continues to attract strong support from both members and the wider public. This year, six generously filled hampers – each packed with dozens of items – were raffled on the day.
Donations were carefully received and organised by Gill Garnett, with the hampers expertly assembled and wrapped by Christine Edwards and Ian Garnett. Ticket sales on matchday were handled by Christine Edwards, Paige Edwards and Ian Garnett.
An NTISA representative said:
“The support we’ve received once again has been fantastic. It’s a brilliant example of what can be achieved when supporters and the local community come together for a good cause.”
The NTISA was formed in 2012 and is made up of dedicated Nantwich Town supporters who follow the club home and away. In addition to backing the team, the group regularly organises fundraising events such as race nights and quiz nights to generate vital additional income.
Over the years, the NTISA’s efforts have helped deliver a number of important improvements at the Swansway Stadium, including the installation of a tannoy system, a ramp and shelter for disabled supporters, and most recently the new Fan-Zone adjacent to the Swansway Stand.
The continued success of the Christmas hamper draw underlines NTISA’s ongoing commitment to supporting Nantwich Town Football Club both on and off the pitch, while also giving back to the local community.
