Nantwich Town Women are pleased to announce the signing of Sophie Holden.
Manager Dan Mellor said:
“We’re very happy to have Sophie join us at Nantwich, we saw her in the summer at our open trials and we thought she was a very promising young player then, she’s spent some time at Wigan Athletic since and has continued her development nicely whilst perhaps not playing enough minutes to really kick on.
“That’s what we offer at Nantwich, a pathway through our development squad into our first team. Sophie has been training well, made her debut last weekend in what was a very tough match to be thrown into as your first game, but she did well and we’re excited to see her development moving forwards.”
And Sophie said:
