Another excellent performance from the U13 Dabbers this weekend saw them extend their 100% record to 4 wins out of 4 to remain top of the Mid Cheshire league division 1.
This weekend’s game saw the team travel to Macclesfield to take on a talented, committed Macclesfield boys u13s.
A closely fought first half saw Macclesfield draw level just before half time after an early goal from Kuba had given the Dabbers the lead.
Into the Second half & the Dabbers stepped it up significantly, tireless work from Dan Jensen and Cameron along with Finley I helped give Nantwich more control of the game, taking the lead again with Kuba scoring again from an excellent free kick from outside the penalty area on the left.
A few minutes later some great work on the ball from David saw him hold off a defender before lifting the ball over the keeper from the edge of the D to extend the Dabbers lead.
Macclesfield continued to battle and pulled one back , before some excellent play through the midfield saw Dylan beating 3 players before crossing the ball into the area , more excellent footwork from Jake saw him unlucky not to score with a back heel , which was scrambled clear only for Kuba to slot home to complete his hattrick.
The Dabbers rounded off the scoring with an excellent finish from Zac after some great work from Cubs & Kuba to close the game & seeing the U13s running out 5-2 winners.
The team continues their excellent scoring record, taking them to 14 for the season in 4 games but once again saw an excellent performance from the defence with Fin N, Aaron, Sammy & Ollie providing an extremely solid platform for the rest of the team to build on and with Tom yet again proving difficult to beat when called on in goal, combining to only conceding 4 goals so far this season.
This coming weekend sees the U13s Dabbers on their travels again, looking to build on their excellent start to the season away to Tytheringon.
