The PitchingIn Northern Premier League fixtures are here, and Dabbers fans can begin planning for another exciting season, starting on 13th August and finishing 22nd April.

For a full list, see the graphic at the bottom of this page, or visit our fixtures page. But below, we quickly summarise the games to look out for.

Opening games

The Dabbers begin away at Lancaster City on August 13, where a narrow 1-0 loss in March brought an end to a record breaking run of games without conceding.

Our first home game is the following Tuesday the 16th, and it’s against one of the promoted sides, Warrington Rylands, so it will be a quick reunion with former Dabber Josh Langley.

New teams

Including Rylands, the Dabbers are actually facing 3 new teams in our first 7 league matches. On 20th August, we play Guiseley at home. The reverse game is scheduled for 7th January.

And on 6th September, we face Belper Town at the Swansway Stadium, the first ever meeting between the two clubs, with the reverse fixture on 14th January.

In terms of the other newbies to the league, our first meeting with Marine is at home on 11th October, Liversedge at home on 22nd October, and Marske United at home on 26th November. The last two of those will also be first ever games against those opponents.

Annual Christmas in Stafford

Boxing Day sees the Dabbers once more head to Stafford Rangers, exactly a year on from that thrilling 2-2 draw with a stunning Dabbers comeback.

The home game against Stafford is down for Easter Monday, 10th April 2023.

In terms of other bank holiday games, Monday 29th August is an always tasty trip to Warrington Town, and the home game is set for 2nd January, the New Year bank holiday being deferred to the 2nd with New Year’s Day falling on a Sunday in 2023.

The run-in

The final five games are where it will all be decided, and Nantwich’s end of the season reads like this:

1st April – Marine (A)

8th April – South Shields (A)

10th April – Stafford Rangers (H)

15th April – Marske United (A)

22nd April – Radcliffe (H)

Obviously all these fixtures are subject to change with factors like winter weather and cup runs to be considered, so keep up to date with any changes on our fixtures page.
