Nantwich FDO completes 3 Peaks Challenge for Dabbers in the Community

Nantwich Town’s Football Development Officer Will Swindells has completed the 3 Peaks Challenge for Dabbers in the Community.

Will climbed Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa (Wales) in just under 23 and a half hours, inside the 24 hour limit of the tough challenge on the three highest mountains in the nations of Britain, a total walking distance of 38km.

Will’s is one of several challenges and events that the club will be putting on and taking part in over a long period of time, under the Dabbers in the Community umbrella that is ultimately aiming to raise enough money to replace the existing, old 3G pitch by the end of 2027, with an eventual target of £300,000. The recent Evening with David Platt was another one of those events.

Stay tuned for those to come, but for now we congratulate Will on his efforts and encourage any donations to his GoFund Me page for his challenge HERE.

We caught up with Will after his achievement, watch the interview below.
