Nantwich Town are happy to reveal more details of our partnership with Malbank School and Sixth Form College for a brand new Football Academy.
Starting in September 2023, the academy provides an opportunity for current Year 11 students to receive high level football coaching alongside their post-16 studies. Most students involved will be studying for a BTEC Double Award Qualification with the option of choosing alternative academic pathways based on their GCSE results.
All students who are a part of the Academy will earn enough credits to access Higher Education courses after Year 13.
On the football side, students will benefit from high quality coaching and performance analysis from Nantwich Town.
There will also be the opportunity to represent Malbank College and Nantwich Town in competitive games!
Post-course, the Academy’s dedicated links to Higher Education settings and Apprenticeship Providers mean that career paths in the sports industry will be possible to pursue.
