Nantwich Town FC Women drew 1-1 with AFC Crewe Women in the Premier Division of the Cheshire Women’s & Youth Football League at Holmes Chapel Leisure Centre on Sunday 7th January 2024.

“We’re suffering from so many injuries at the moment and yet the girls put on a great team performance against a team at the very top of the league, many of them carrying knocks and illnesses themselves. The togetherness really shone through today and on another day we maybe get the 3 points.”
Nantwich Town FC Women are also planning an inaugural Development Squad, due to the increase in players at their Club over the past twelve months and the success of their Women’s First Team. The new Development Squad will play in the Cheshire Women’s and Youth League from the 2024/2025 season. Player trials are held on the Applewood Arena 3G at Nantwich Town Football Club on Waterlode in Nantwich CW5 5BS. Players must be 16+ on 1st September 2024 or turn 16 before May 2025. The date of the next trial is Friday 12th January (7pm).
