The Dabbers head to Yorkshire for a tough looking match against Whitby. Here’s what to expect:

Have your Whits about you

Our hosts have made a solid start to the season, winning away at Lancaster and drawing with Radcliffe, without conceding a goal. And with the Dabbers yet to concede from open play this will be a tight match that could well be decided on the attacks having to open up the back lines with a bit of quality.

Last time out

A six goal thriller split equally for a 3-3 draw in November 2019, Joe Malkin getting two and David Webb scoring his first for the club. But two penalties for the hosts meant Nantwich did give up a 3-1 lead.

Here’s the report from that game.

Player to watch

Marcus Giles was the only scorer in that win over Lancaster, and the young striker signed from Whitley Bay and previously of Morpeth will be a physical and rapid threat to the Dabbers defence.
