Last Time Out

The Dabbers’ last outing came at the weekend where they won a strong point against a resilient Radcliffe side at the Neuven Stadium.

The Dabbers trailed after a half-hour after Josh Langley scored an own goal, his straying leg putting the ball past Cameron Gregory. The second half, however, would start stronger for Dave Cooke’s side. Sean Cooke scored his ninety-seventh goal in a Nantwich shirt from the penalty spot, a strong effort down the middle. Ricardo Fuller put the Dabbers in front with a well-struck effort from outside the box, before the visitors were pegged back through Darren McKnight as Radcliffe secured a point.

Key Man – Jason Gilchrist

Gilchrist joined South Shields in the summer after a spell with Southport and Stockport County. His stints came after a strong few seasons with FC United of Manchester. He came through the youth system at Burnley and has a keen eye for goal. The striker has netted on thirteen occasions for the Mariners this season.

Our Last Meeting

Nantwich Town solidified their position in the BetVictor Northern Premier League play-off spots with a stunning 4-1 victory away at league leaders South Shields.

Goals from Caspar Hughes, Sean Cooke, Ricardo Fuller and Luke Walsh secured all three points in front off a large crowd at Mariners Park.
