The Dabbers are back at home on Saturday, as we host Stalybridge Celtic at the Swansway Stadium (3pm kick-off), in a match between 2 sides separated only by goal difference.

After a solid start, the Dabbers’ defeat of Stalybridge in September started a run of 10 games without a win in all competitions that saw them fall down the table.
In recent weeks, however, their form has stabilised, and they are unbeaten now in their last 5, including an impressive draw with Warrington Town and a win over high-flying Hyde United on Boxing Day. They are a place behind the Dabbers in the PitchingIn Northern Premier League, 18th on goal difference and with a game in hand.
They have also progressed like the Dabbers in the Cheshire Senior Cup, beating Cammell Laird 3-0 in midweek.

In September, the away game that was moved back a week after the death of the Queen was won by the Dabbers by 2 goals to 1, Ritchie Sutton’s first away win as Nantwich manager. Highlights from that one are available below.
Players to Watch
The excellent Raul Correia is tied 6th in the league’s top scorers on 9 goals so will be their biggest goalscoring threat. Also catching the eye is defender Matty Carson, who bagged himself a hat trick in Celtic’s recent 4-2 win over Liversedge. Chris Dagnall and the Abadaki brothers Godwin and Osebi, both former Dabbers, have also been amongst the goals in recent matches.
