After last Saturday’s extraordinary win, the Dabbers will look to bring winning form back to the Swansway Stadium this Saturday (3pm kick-off) as we face Mossley.

The trend of recent games for Mossley has been low scoring. Just one game they’ve been involved in in 2025 has had more than 2 goals, that was a 3-2 defeat to Trafford at the start of February. Since then, they were involved in two goalless draws with Wythenshawe Town and Chasetown, a 2-0 win at City of Liverpool, and a 1-0 defeat to Vauxhall last weekend.

With those stats in mind, perhaps the reverse game result in October wasn’t that surprising. Mossley won 1-0 at Seel Park after a long throw in the first 5 minutes proved the Dabbers’ undoing. Mossley have 3 players well clear of the rest in terms of goalscoring. Mason Fawns is on 10 for the season, one of those coming in that reverse game. Obua Mugalula is next on 9, then former Dabber Eric Yahaya on 7. Yahaya scored in the win over City of Liverpool and defeat at Trafford, where Fawns also scored.
The Lillywhites must have the best selection of names in the league, as well as Mugalula they also have a Hockenhull, a Kgwakgwa, Teddy Lavelle, Wealth Dasilva-Olajide and Guilherme Baltazar in their ranks.
