Two games and two draws for the Dabbers at the start of the 2022/23 season, and this Saturday brings another meeting with one of the PitchingIn Northern Premier League new boys in Guiseley, at the Swansway Stadium (3pm kick-off).

It’s been a mixed bag in their first two games for relegated Guiseley. On opening day, they were well beaten 3-0 by promoted Marine at home after having a player sent off. But they put that right with a good 3-1 win away at Morpeth Town in the week, in recent times a very hard place to go and get three points.
Saturday will be only the sixth ever meeting between the two clubs, and the first in 12 years, when Guiseley won 2-0 in Cheshire in March 2010.
Players to Watch
Former Wales Under-21 international Jake Cassidy (pictured below, left, courtesy of Guiseley Twitter) has rejoined Guiseley this summer and got his first league goal for them on Tuesday night at Morpeth. A dangerous centre forward with over 100 EFL appearances for clubs like Wolves and Tranmere, he’ll be eager to keep that run going on Saturday.
