The Dabbers take our excellent unbeaten run and run without conceding to Lancashire on Saturday (3pm kick-off) to face Lancaster City.

Lanc of hope and glory

As the Dabbers have improved, so have Lancaster. They are unbeaten in their last 4, and that has included wins over South Shields, Stafford and Morpeth, impressive results against top teams in the division.

They are currently 11th in the PitchingIn Northern Premier League, 6 points outside the playoffs but with the disadvantage of having played a game more than some of the teams above them and with a negative goal difference.

Last Time Out

‘Twas four nights before Christmas, when Lancaster came to town and won 2-0, one of the low points of the Dabbers’ season, Rhys Turner and Charlie Bailey with the goals in the second half. Highlights can be watched below.

Players to Watch

Bailey has been in good form again recently, netting the winners against Shields and Morpeth, and has become a bit of a local legend during his 5 years at the club, so much so that his full name on Wikipedia is given as Lord Charles Bernard Rufus Montegue Bailey, The Earl of Cork, tongue in cheek but a sign of how well liked he is in Lancaster.
