The Dabbers are back on the road this Saturday (3pm kick-off), as we head to Guiseley to play at Nethermoor Park for the first time in 14 years.

Guiseley’s last 6 results in all competitions have been WLWLWL, all or nothing since mid-November. If you take it slightly further back, it’s been 6 defeats in their last 9. But the wins in recent weeks have come against Warrington Town, Morpeth and a convincing 3-0 over Atherton in their last home outing.
Former Matlock boss Paul Phillips took over as manager at the end of November and his record so far reads as 2 wins and 2 defeats.
They remain in what appears a solid 13th place in the PitchingIn Northern Premier League, however recent weeks has seen the bottom half tighten up significantly, to the point where there is only 6 points between 12th and 20th in the league, and just 4 between Guiseley and the Dabbers.

Nantwich were stung by a last-minute winner from substitute Lewis Hey for a 1-0 Guiseley victory at the Swansway Stadium in August. Highlights below.
That last visit to Guiseley in September 2009 finished 1-0 to the home side, a stadium the Dabbers haven’t won at in 2 previous attempts.
Players to Watch
Guiseley’s top scorer is Jake Cassidy on 5 goals, but he hasn’t played since the start of December due to injury.
In recent games, scoring responsibility has been passed around, with both Lewis Whitham and Callum Chippendale grabbing 2 goals in their last 3 appearances.
And Paul Phillips has been recruiting too, signing Leigh Whelan and Kallan Murphy who he knew from Matlock, as well as Courtney Meppen-Walter from Radcliffe.
