The Dabbers are back on the road this Saturday, as we head to Lancashire to face Bamber Bridge at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium (3pm kick-off).
La Bamber
Bamber Bridge haven’t won in their last three games, although one of those was against National League North Buxton in the FA Cup, and another against big spending Macclesfield in the FA Trophy. However, if you take just league games, they’ve only lost 1 of their last 7, to Stalybridge in the middle of last month. There have been wins over Warrington Town and FC United in that time.
A good FA Cup run has meant they are a game behind the teams around them, sitting 13th in the PitchingIn Northern Premier League on 16 points from 11 games.
Last Time Out
With safety secured, the Dabbers headed to Bamber Bridge on the final day of last season with nothing to play for, but the hosts still had an outside shot of the play offs. An entertaining game finished 1-1, highlights available below.
Players to Watch
Ex FC United striker Fin Sinclair-Smith is the Brig’s top scorer on 4 but they seem to be a team who spread the goals around, they’ve had 10 different goalscorers in their games this season. The flipside of this is they have conceded 1 more goal than the Dabbers having played 2 games fewer, so it’s perhaps a defence that can be got at.
