Joel Connolly signs new Dabbers contract

Nantwich Town are delighted to announce that Joel Connolly has signed a new contract until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Joel has made 20 appearances this season, and 26 in total since joining the club last March. It would have been more were it not for an unlucky injury that saw him miss 2 months of action this season.

Showing versatility by playing at both right back and in midfield, Joel has also recently worn the captain’s armband.

Manager Paul Carden said:

“We certainly missed Joel when he got injured, he’s the type of player that managers love because he’s so committed you can play him anywhere and he’d be equally as committed. He’s versatile, he trains well and trains the way that he plays. He has high standards in terms of his fitness and dedication, he’s a good young player who if everything keeps going well is destined for higher levels. We’re delighted he’s signed a deal because he’s certainly an asset for the club.”
