Nantwich Town are delighted to announce that Jamie Morgan is back with the Dabbers on a season-long loan from Altrincham.

Morgan, a versatile player who predominantly plays as an attacking right-back, spent two years with the club between 2017 and 2019, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists in 97 appearances.

His first season with the club after signing from Sandbach saw him win the clubs’ Young Player of the Season award.

In the 2018-19 season he excelled and earned a clean sweep of club awards, Players’ Player, Managers’ Player and Supporters’ Player of the Season.

This form led to him getting snapped up by Chester where he has spent the last two and a bit curtailed seasons, winning the clubs’ Goal of the Season in 2020-21 for a volley against Bradford Park Avenue.

Earlier this season he rejoined the Dabbers on a months loan where he made six appearances, He also surpassed 100 Dabbers appearances in our dramatic 1-1 draw at Buxton where he scored a last minute equaliser to give earn us a hard fought point.

Since then, Jamie has signed for National League side Altrincham where he has made six appearances for The Robbins.

We are absolutely delighted to have Jamie back amongst the squad and we can’t wait to see him in a Dabbers shirt once again
