Nantwich Town are pleased to announce that James Plant has joined the club on a month’s work experience loan from Port Vale.
The 18-year-old attacking player has made two first team appearances for Vale this season after coming through their youth academy.
He comes straight into contention for today’s match against Whitby Town.
On Plant, joint manager Ritchie Sutton said:
“James is a young and upcoming midfielder/wide man who has been highly recommended. He has played for their first team, most recently in the 4-0 victory over Shrewsbury in the EFL Trophy and they have high hopes for him moving forward.”
And talking about both James and our other recent addition, Jack Williams, Ritchie said:
“They will both bring energy, enthusiasm, quality and a great attitude to the group which is what we feel is needed at this moment in time.”
Welcome to the Dabbers, James!
