Nantwich Town can confirm that Ibrahima Sy has returned to Stoke City at the end of his successful loan period with the Dabbers.

Ibrahima made 6 appearances for the Dabbers in September, playing both his first and last games against Grantham Town, finishing off with 90 minutes away in Lincolnshire on Tuesday night.

Manager Dave Cooke said: “We have a good relationship with Stoke so they allowed Ibrahima to come and play men’s football for us.

“I think he will be the first to admit that it took him a game to get used to it, but since then he’s been a revelation!

“He’s fitted in nicely to our squad and to the club in general.

“He actually messaged me earlier to say how much he feels he’s progressed over the last month, so we’re pleased it’s worked for both parties and we hope to see him in Stoke’s first team squad in the future.”

Everyone at Nantwich Town thanks Ibrahima for his efforts and wishes him the best at Stoke for the future.
