Tomorrow is another great occasion for the club as we welcome the officials, management, players and supporters of York City to The Swansway Stadium and we are honoured that the Chair of The F.A and Vice President of FIFA, Debbie Hewitt M.B.E will also be joining us to officially open our new community 3G pitch before tomorrow’s game. Prior to this she will also visit the “Applewood Arena facility to view the Saturday community activities with our junior and youth players, Pan Disability team and Women’s section.
“We are delighted to have The Chair of The F.A join us to open our new community 3G pitch and to also observe and support the wonderful progress that the club continues to make on all levels, said Dabbers Chairman Jon Gold “and it’s a big thanks and justification to all of our volunteers, investors and supporters, whose dedication and efforts help to make this all happen and it’s wonderful that it coincides with such a prestigious game in the FA Trophy and I am sure it’s going to be an exciting and memorable occasion”.
A reminder that tomorrow’s game is all ticket and tickets must be purchased in advance via the club’s online ticketing system.
Due to the classification of the game against National League (National Division) opposition, there is segregation in place and the sale and consumption of alcohol inside the stadium is strictly prohibited. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we are governed by the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events legislation, whereby the consumption of alcohol in stadiums involving teams from this level and above is prohibited.
Thanks as always for your understanding and support and we look forward to welcoming everyone tomorrow for what should be another memorable and enjoyable occasion.
