Nantwich Town are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Matthew Tweedley.
The 20-year-old was a product of the Bolton Wanderers academy and played for their B team before being leaving this summer.
He is familiar with the NPL system too, having made 15 appearances on loan for Lancaster City in the NPL Premier in 2022/23.
Tweedley scored a truly spectacular goal as a trialist for the Dabbers in the 140th Anniversary Match against Prescot Cables that immediately had supporters asking for him to be signed, and here we are!
