Nantwich Town are pleased to announce that Jacob Hamman has joined the club on a youth loan from Salford City until the end of the season.
The young midfielder came through the ranks at 1874 Northwich before being snapped up by Salford, who then loaned him back to 1874 for a spell last season.
This campaign, he has made the move up to Salford’s B team, making several appearances for them and making his first team senior debut against Stockport in the EFL Trophy in October.
Manager Paul Carden said:
“Jacob knows non-league and comes highly recommended not just from people at 1874 but also the staff at Salford. They took him out of non-league as they do with a lot of players and he’s been performing really well in their B team this year, and has played in the first team so they obviously think highly of him. He’s been in this week training with us and looks a real accomplished player, good energy and ability and hopefully he’ll bring that to the side for ourselves.”
