Nantwich Town are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Fenton Green.
Green was most recently at Wythenshawe Town, making 32 appearances for them last season. He scored once, and it just happened to be a superb strike against the Dabbers in March.
The 22-year-old started out in the Crewe Alex academy and was with them up to under 18 level. After being released, he went to Hyde United and made 11 appearances in the 21/22 season.
He scored 6 goals for 1874 Northwich in his spell there before being signed by Leek Town for their NPL West title winning season part of the way into 2023/24, making 28 appearances.

“I have been a long time admirer of Fenton, since his time at Crewe Alex. He proved his quality when supporting Leek to this league title and I am delighted he has chosen Nantwich as his next club to go and develop. Fenton is still very young, but comes with a whole load of experience which will complement this developing squad. Fenton is another player who proved to me just how much he wanted to be a part of what we are trying to build and will be a fantastic addition to the team.”
