The make-up of the PitchingIn NPL West in 2025/26 has been announced by the FA, subject to appeals and ratification.
It remains as 22 teams, but with 5 new additions:
- Bury and Lower Breck join after promotion from the North West Counties Premier.
- Shifnal Town are promoted from the Midlands Premier League.
- No teams have been relegated into this league due to the geography of the teams that finished in the bottom 4 of the NPL Premier. Instead, Darlaston Town and Sporting Khalsa are shifted sideways from the NPL Midlands.
- Wythenshawe Town have been granted a reprieve from relegation as the 4th bottom team last season after Farsley Celtic were allocated to Step 5 following their relegation from National League North and their ongoing financial issues.
The wait now starts for the fixtures, which based on previous years should be out in mid-July. In the meantime, keep an eye out for our pre-season schedule once those games are confirmed.
