The Dabbers have taken receipt of a very special guest ahead of our home game against Atherton.
Rainbow the bear is the mascot of Pathways4All, a charity from the north east that supports children and young adults with additional needs by providing play and leisure services.
As part of their fundraising efforts, the idea was formed to choose a mascot and send it around as many football clubs as possible. The children chose this bear, and decided to call him Rainbow.
He has since been around 18 non-league clubs from across the country, starting at Birtley Town in County Durham and most recently Stalybridge via several other Northern Premier League teams.
Rainbow has spent some time with the Dabbers, meeting his new friends Twitchy and Gresty (pictured above) and even sneaking his way into the post-match interview on Wednesday night! (pictured below)

Supporters can do their bit during and around the Atherton game. Fundraising buckets will be in a couple of places around the ground if you can spare any change, or alternatively you can donate to Pathways4All online HERE.
Thanks in advance for your generosity.
