Nantwich Town are pleased to announce a partnership with voluntary sports equality organisation Her Game Too.
Formed in 2021, Her Game Too describe on their website that they:
“are passionate about creating a positive change in football and the wider sporting world. We aim to raise awareness and educate others on the importance of inclusivity and diversity in sports.
Our ultimate goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of their background, ability, or gender. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in sports and have access to the same resources and opportunities.”
They have partnerships with dozens of clubs up and down the football pyramid; you may recognise their logo from when it’s been on show at Premier League and EFL clubs. They’ve also branched out into different sports, cricket, rugby and hockey, as well as e-sports.
A big part of their campaign has been working with Kick It Out around providing a space where specifically sexist or misogynistic abuse suffered in a sporting context, on or off the pitch, can be anonymously reported. If that ever happens to you, then you can report it HERE.
