Coming up at the Swansway this summer

With the senior football seasons now done, the Swansway becomes home to all manner of local cup finals, charity games, events and more. Below we list just some of the things coming up this summer; if we’ve missed any, please contact the club on social media or by emailing [email protected] and we’ll add them on.

Saturday 9th May – Hadzilla Cup

A now annual game to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK, in memory of Steven ‘Hadzilla’ Hadzik who passed away from the disease in 2023. As well as a full 90 minute match, there will be a variety of other things going on around the ground for all ages including live music, a raffle, bake sale and collection buckets. The event starts at 12pm, the game kicks off at 12.30pm, and events will be going on throughout the day. You can donate towards their efforts HERE.

Sunday 10th May – Cheshire Women’s and Youth Football cup finals

The under 17s final will kick off at 11am and the under 18s final at 2pm.

Sunday 10th May – Men’s Regional Sunday league final 1

Kick off at 6pm after the 2 women’s finals.

Tuesday 12th May – CWYFL final

The third of the women’s finals at the Swansway, this is the open age final and will kick off at 6pm.

Wednesday 13th and 20th May – Women’s Team Open Trials

A chance to potentially become a part of the playing squad of the back-to-back title winning Dabbers Women, who will be playing at Step 5 of non-league next season. These trials will both be at 7pm on the 2 nights and you must register in advance HERE.

Thursday 14th May – Nantwich Roots Festival performance

The Swansway will host Toby Lee’s performance at the Nantwich Roots Festival. Toby is an exciting Blues guitarist who has been on TV multiple times and performed alongside musicians like Peter Frampton and Slash. It’s sure to be a great night; it’s from 7.30pm and you can get tickets HERE.

Friday 15th May – Men’s Awards Evening 2026

15 awards will be handed out at the Swansway at our annual awards that start at 8pm with doors open at 7pm. Tickets are £12.50 which includes food from the Tea Lounge. Get your tickets HERE. NTISA members can come for free!

Sunday 24th May – Men’s Regional Sunday league final 2

The second Sunday league final, kick off for this one is also 6pm.

Tuesday 26th-Friday 29th May – Nantwich Soccer School

Our ever popular soccer school returns at the end of May. Open to ages 5-11 (Years 1-6), and with the chance to win prizes and learn from UEFA qualified coaches, book your child’s place HERE. The days go from 9am-3pm each day, with costs at £30 per day.

Sunday 14th June – Comedy Gig

Comedian Mick Miller, who’s been on the Royal Variety Performance, is the headline comedy act at the Swansway, with support from Bobby Murdock. Doors open at 1pm and the gig starts at 2pm. Get your tickets online HERE.

Wednesday 17th, Tuesday 23rd and Saturday 27th June – England World Cup games

Watch England against Croatia, Ghana and Panama as we screen the games at the Swansway! The games kick off at 9pm (first two) and 10pm (Panama) with our Function Room and Fan Zone bars open from 7pm on all 3 nights.

Saturday 25th July – Club 45 Family Fun Day

A day for the slightly older player as a mini tournament of eight 7-a-side teams compete for fun! You can enter a team or just come down to the Swansway to watch. There’ll also be an exhibition match featuring the recently formed Nantwich over 50s.

Saturday 29th August – Nantwich Town Disability Football fundraising walk

Our disabled football section always put themselves to the test to raise money for their great work, and this year is no different. At the end of August they’ll be doing a walk from the Swansway Stadium to High Peak, with a total distance of 42 miles. Get in touch if you’d like to join them, or donate to their efforts HERE.
