VACANCY: Administration and Accounts Officer

Nantwich Town Football Club is seeking to appoint a confident, enthusiastic and motivated individual to the newly created role of Administration and Accounts Officer as the club enters an exciting period of significant growth and development.

Salary: £30,000 pa, pro rata

Hours: Part-time, 3 days a week (flexible)

Location: The Swansway Stadium, Nantwich

The successful candidate would be responsible to the General Manager for carrying out the Club’s daily Administrative and Financial activities and for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of internal systems and processes.

Due to the nature of the organisation, a deal of flexibility will be required in relation to days and hours of work but is a fantastic opportunity to join a high profile organisation which is a key asset to the local community.

Duties will include:

  • Dealing with daily admin duties/post/e-mails phone calls/filing/ticket sales.
  • Invoicing/cash reconciliation/cash flow/day-to-day banking and payroll (in conjunction with the Club Secretary).
  • Providing financial information and liaising with the club’s Finance Director on day-to-day budgetary control.
  • Managing the club’s insurance policies (in conjunction with the Club Secretary).
  • Co-ordinating and keeping up to date records of all Health & Safety requirements.
  • Managing the club’s IT systems including Xero/Club Control/Class4Kids and Kaizen online ticketing system.
  • Organising regular fire and health & safety drills (in conjunction with the club’s Facilities Director and the Stadium Manager).
  • Supporting the Stadium Manager in organising dealing with day to day maintenance requirements.
  • Supporting the Football Development Officer with his admin and financial responsibilities.
  • Any other duties as required by the General Manager.

Skills and qualifications:

  • A relevant Administration and Accountancy qualification.
  • Experience in using Xero and EPOS systems.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to develop excellent working relationships both internally and externally.
  • An interest in football and experience of working in football administration would be helpful but not essential.
