Striker Danny Glover joined the Dabbers in June 2018 from Hednesford Town following a two and a half year spell with the Pitmen.
Danny scored 27 goals last season in all competitions for Hednesford including one in the 5-1 win over the Dabbers in January.
The forward began his career at Port Vale and made his first-team debut in a 2-2 draw with with Morecambe, before scoring his first professional goal against Northampton Town in another 2-2 draw. Glover has plenty of non-league experience having also played for Worcester City, Stockport County and Bradford Park Avenue.
He has had two spells with Hednesford, his first coming in 2014 where he scored nine times in a season that saw the side lose to Altrincham in the Conference North play-offs. He rejoined the Pitmen in 2016 following a spell at Telford, and he scored his 50th goal for the club in a 5-0 win over Basford United last year.
In his first year with the club, Danny made thirty-nine appearances, scoring eleven goals, which included a superb hat-trick away at Scarborough Athletic, which won him the club’s ‘Golden Moment’ of 2018-19. He lost almost two months to injury part-way through the campaign but had a good campaign as he helped the club reach the play-offs.
