After three losses in a row, The Dabbers are looking to get back to winning ways against local rivals Witton Albion. 


The Dabbers began the season in fine form as they picked up two wins from their first two games against Stalybridge Celtic and Atherton Collieries. However, since then they have lost three games on the bounce. 

Witton currently sit bottom of the league on two points. They have lost three games and drawn two against Gainsborough Trinity and more recently, Basford United. 


Last time the sides met was on the 15th December in the FA Trophy. This game will be be well remembered by Dabbers fans as they ran out 5-2 winners on the night. The Albs actually took the lead on the night but then Scott McGowan put Dave Cooke’s men infront with an excellent quick fire brace. The Dabbers then ran riot of Luke Walsh, David Webb and former Witton man Ben Harrison all scored in the second half to round off a memorable night at our local rivals. You can watch highlights from that game here:
