Nantwich Town have agreed a deal to sign former Inverness Caledonian Thistle forward Jason Oswell.
The 20-year-old, who was released by the Scottish Premier League outfit in January, will join the Dabbers as soon as he receives international clearance from the Scottish FA.
Oswell came through the youth system at Crewe Alexandra and spent a brief spell on work experience at Nantwich in 2011, scoring three goals in eight appearances.
“Jason’s got great potential and, in many ways, he’s an old fashioned centre forward,” said manager Jimmy Quinn. “He’s big, strong and good in the air.
“He did a really good job for us a couple of years ago when he came from Crewe and hopefully he can repeat that impressive form in the coming weeks.”
Oswell is unlikely to feature in tomorrow’s (February 2) match at Hednesford Town.« Back to all news
