Neligwa, who is a winger for the Dabbers’ youth side and was on the bench for the Cheshire Senior Cup tie with Sandbach Utd last night, was selected for the trials at Lilleshall National Sport Centre in Newport following good performances for his county side.
The trials including two games against an RAF U23 XI and a Royal Navy U23 XI, the latter seeing the trialists win 6-0 with Neligwa opening the scoring for his team.
Youth boss Lyndon Wain said: “I am so proud of David for being selected for England Schoolboys’ U18 side. It’s an absolutely brilliant achievement.”
