Neil Sorvel- Assistant Manager

Neil is a former midfielder for local side Crewe Alexandra, where he played over 250 games for the Railwaymen in two spell first between 1991-1992 and the a second spell between 1999-2005.

He also had a spell at Macclesfield Town, where he played nearly 200 games for the Silkmen in the Conference Premier and even won the title in both the 1994/95 and 1996/97 seasons.

Following he departure from the Alex he joined Shrewsbury Town in 2005, where he spent a season and a half before moving to Conference outfit Morecambe in 2007. He helped them to win promotion to the Football League. ‘Sorves’ then had a spell at Southport before spells at Droyslden, Hyde and Northwich Victoria, hanging up his boots in 2011.

He joined Nantwich Town as assistant manager to Phil Parkinson in February 2015.
