Nantwich Town manager Phil Parkinson has further strengthened his squad with the capture of the highly rated and exciting winger Joe Mwasile from Marine.
The 23 year old, who started his career at Morecambe and played a major part in Salford’s FA Cup and promotion success’s last year, has long been on the Dabbers managers radar. Phil Parkinson noted: ‘He is an exciting young player that I have admired for a long time and his performances against us last season and this season when he was playing for Marine, were impressive.
“Since the departure of Matty (Kosylo) and Lewis (Short) we have lacked some creativity off the wing and Joe is a player with great pace, that loves to get forward and I know that he will be a fantastic addition to the great squad that we already have.
“I’m sure that the supporters will make him welcome from the off and enjoy seeing him play his part in helping us to continue on our mission of playing entertaining football and bringing more success for the club.”
The winger has featured in all three encounters between Marine and the Dabbers this season and has also netted four times in all competitions.
Joe will be available for tomorrows FA Trophy match at Warrington Town.« Back to all news
