NANTWICH TOWN 1-0 STALYBRIDGE CELTIC

Nantwich lifted the Cheshire Senior Cup this evening after defeating Stalybridge Celtic 1-0 at the Exacta Stadium, Chester.  Michael Lennon scored the vital goal minutes before half-time to guide Jimmy Quinn’s side to a hard fought victory over their Blue Square Bet North opponents.  It is only the 4th time in the club’s 128 year history that Nantwich have won the Cheshire Senior Cup.
