Nantwich bid to finish their Evo-Stik League programme in style when they make the long trip to North Ferriby tomorrow (Saturday) by extending their current unbeaten run to eight matches.
The Dabbers are full of confidence following their explosive performance at Stocksbridge on Tuesday where they ran out 5-1 winners, even so Nantwich boss Jimmy Quinn is taking nothing for granted and says, “The team are playing very well and we have strength in depth now which wasn’t always the case earlier in the season and the fact that we finished the game on Tuesday with eight players under 21 shows that there are exciting times ahead if we can build on this next season. There isn’t much between us and North Ferriby in the League and it was a tough game when we beat them 2-1 back in February at the Weaver Stadium, so we are expecting another competitive match , as basically we are playing for who finishes highest and we need to make sure it’s us”.
Nantwich will have Mat Bailey back in the squad after injury and Michael Lennon will be making his 201st appearance for the Club.
